Penguatan Kesadaran Hukum Dan Pelayanan Publik Dalam Mewujudkan Masyarakat Yang Tertib Dan Responsif

Abstract

Urban communities face legal and security issues through everyday decisions, including responding to unverified information, handling minor conflicts, and choosing appropriate reporting channels. This community service program aimed to translate legal norms into practical responses for residents of Magersari Urban Village, Mojokerto City. The activity was conducted on 10 June 2026 and involved 35 residents, students, and urban-village officials. The program combined concise explanations, contextual cases, procedural guidance, and an interactive forum covering rights and obligations, access to police services, deliberation and legal pathways, and responsible social-media use. Process evaluation drew on aggregate attendance, implementation notes, teaching materials, observation, and activity documentation. The forum connected face-to-face and digital problems within a common decision sequence: recognize the issue, screen the information, respond proportionately, and connect with competent services. The program produced a concise material matrix and an initial functional legal-literacy framework that can support future community education. Its value lies in providing a practical language for conflict de-escalation, information verification, and service access. Further implementation should add case-based assessment and follow-up monitoring to examine participants’ ability to apply the framework.
