As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Preparing for Submission of

Author Guidelines

  1. Manuscripts are written in English, including the results of research, field research or literature research, and articles that reflect the phenomenon of Sosial Science.
  2. Manuscripts are typed using Microsoft Word program A4 size, about 6,000-7,000 words in Palatino Linotype size 12 pts and spaced 1.
  3. The research result writing system consists of:
    Title
    The title should not be more than 14 words; should be clear, concise, and informative. Abbreviations should be avoided.
    Writer's name
    The author's name is written without an academic degree, followed by the name of the author's institution, which is located below the article title. In case the manuscript is written by a team, the editor only deals with the main or first-mentioned author. The lead author must include correspondence or email address.
    Abstract with keywords
    The length of the abstract is about 200-250 words, while the keyword limit is 3-5 words. The abstract should at least contain the objectives, methods, and research results.
    Introduction
    The introduction should contain (in order) the general background and the research question or hypothesis. If there is a literature review, it can be included in this chapter. The study objectives should be written at the end of the introduction.
    Method
    The research method must describe the method used in solving the problem, including the method of analysis. It should contain sufficient detail to enable the reader to evaluate the suitability of the method as well as the reliability and validity of the findings.
    discussion
    The research results and discussion section contains the results of research findings and subsequent discussions. The findings obtained from the results of the research carried out must be written with the support of additional adequate data. The results and research findings must be able to complete or provide an explanation for the questions raised in the introduction.
    Conclusion
    The closing statement should contain a summary and suggestions. The summary should provide examples of the answers given for the hypothesis and/or research objectives or findings obtained. The summary should not contain repetition of research results and discussion but must contain a summary of research results and findings as expected in the research objectives or hypotheses. Suggestions should present things that will be done in relation to the next research concept.

Reference

All references cited in the text of the article must be listed in the bibliography section. Must include references obtained from primary sources (consisting of scientific journals of 80% of the entire bibliography) that have been published in the last 10 (ten) years. The remaining 20% can be in the form of research articles or research reports (theses, books, and other relevant publications).

4. Manuscripts are submitted directly to https://ejournal.ubhara.ac.id/index.php/intelektual/about/submissions  by creating a user account as the author.

5. Tables and figures must have clear titles and numbers and sources and must be typed in one space.

6. The reference list contains only the sources that are referenced, and all the sources referenced must be mentioned in the list. Reference sources comprise, at least, 80% of the literature published in the last ten years. Reference sources are research articles in journals or research reports (including undergraduate theses, master's theses, dissertations, books, and other relevant publications).

7. All references mentioned must be written in reference using the American Psychological Association (APA) style and arranged from A to Z.

8. Check the accuracy of each referenced article and make sure every work cited in the article is written in the Reference. Works not cited but mentioned in the References will be removed by the editor.

9. All manuscripts are studied anonymously by reviewers appointed by the editor according to their expertise. Authors are given the opportunity to revise the manuscript based on recommendations/suggestions from reviewers or editors. Decision publication or rejection will be notified via the author's email address.

10. The editor has the right to change and correct the spelling, writing, and grammar of the published manuscript.

11. Everything related to the licensing of citations or the use of computer software in script writing or other matters relating to copyright by the author, along with all legal consequences, are the full responsibility of the author.

12. An author whose manuscript is published will receive one copy of proof of publication and five copies of proof of print. Unpublished manuscripts will not be returned.
